Blockbuster Design with Dering Hall and 200 Lex

On April 29, the New York Design Center celebrated the launch of Wired&Inspired, the first ever Virtual Showhouse presented by Dering Hall with a kick-off party “Blockbuster Design: From the Big Screen to the Design Scene with the Wired&Inspired Virtual Showhouse Designers.” The off-script conversation featured a fun round of fishbowl-drawn questions on topics ranging from design to cinema to New York City.

The Wired&Inspired Virtual Showhouse launched online on April 27 and features nine top New York-based interior designer firms who were assigned a digital room to decorate using furnishings selected from 200 Lex showrooms. The designers include Celerie Kemble, David Scott, Brett Beldock, Jayne & Joan Michaels, Lydia Marks & Lisa Frantz, Etienne Coffinier & Ed Ku, Stefan Steil, Virginia Toledo & Jessica Geller and Kati Curtis.

The designs consist of a moodboard and room renderings, and are inspired by New York film sets. Items used in the rooms are available for purchase through Dering Hall.
