Brad Ford, owner of the New York Design Center’s FAIR showroom at 200 Lexington Avenue, brought a taste of his modern makers craft fair, Field + Supply, to this year’s Dining by Design. 200 Lex in partnership with Ford joined forces to showcase and support local artisans creating a dining experience that truly celebrated the industry’s makers. The FAIR showroom and F+S have become destinations to discover innovative craftsmanship and to support all things handmade. 200 Lex is proud to sponsor F+S and was thrilled to bring the outstanding event to DIFFA’s Dining by Design. In addition, a number of the artisans were on hand throughout the event to sell their designs with a percentage of sales benefiting DIFFA.
The modern maker’s movement continues to flourish with an ever-growing global conscience seeking out sustainably made quality goods. This is especially so in New York where skillful artisans are enjoying a true renaissance. Stemmed from Field + Supply, FAIR, conceptualized by Brad Ford, is the place to source an array of truly unique, handcrafted pieces that are both contemporary and high-quality all under one roof.
The New York Design Center has been a proud supporter and sponsor of DIFFA’s Dining by Design for over 15 years. Each year, the Design Center partners with a designer to source product from the vast assortment of showroom offerings to create a show-stopping dining installation. DIFFA boasts many industry events throughout the year to support the fight against HIV/AIDS, 200 Lex is a proud sponsor and supporter of each and every one.
