RISD Textiles exhibition opening at The Gallery at 200 Lex on Thursday, June 7.

This month, The Gallery at 200 Lex will feature the work of six newly graduated MFA 2018 students from Rhode Island School of Design’s (RISD) Textile Department, as well as BFA Degree Project work by recent Senior graduates.

The opening reception for the exhibit will take place on June 7th from 5:00-7:30pm at The Gallery at 200 Lex on the 10th floor, 200 Lexington Avenue, and will be open Monday – Friday through June 21st from 9:30am-5:30pm.

“We are happy to once again exhibit RISD Textiles work at The Gallery at New York Design Center,” notes RISD Associate Professor of Textiles Brooks Hagan. “This year we focus upon recent MFA work that addresses concepts of textiles in space and form, and we are excited to show selected BFA Degree Projects, the culminating work by Senior undergraduates in the program.”

Featured work will include RISD Textiles MFA 2018 graduates Anjuli Bernstein, Carolina Jimenez, Catherine McGettigan, Charlotte Fairless, Khalid Mezaina and Winifred Vaughan.
