200 Lex Expands Fabric and Textile Selection

200 Lex, often dubbed as New York’s “Furniture” building, now offers 104 collections of textiles. This comprehensive selection of fabric, wallcoverings, and passementerie sold “by the yard” further positions the New York Design Center as the premier marketplace for interior design. This abundant selection of iconic, cutting edge and stylish textiles allows for 200 Lex to service all designers and all projects.  Essentially, The New York Design Center is New York’s Design Center!

In September, the Baker Furniture showroom introduced an offering of textiles including over 1,300 fabrics. The new patterns focus on foundational textures, saturated color and decorative designs. The newly constructed 3,000 square foot New York City showroom at 200 Lex serves as the flagship location. The initial launch includes past collaborations from some of Baker’s prestigious guest designers, such as Thomas Pheasant, Laura Kirar and Kara Mann.

One of the New York Design Center’s newest showrooms, BRADLEY, carries 36 unique and up-and-coming boutique fabric and wall covering companies alongside their own furnishings. The growing roster includes the much sought after companies Brett Design, Erica Wakerly, Flat Vernacular, Juju Papers, Root Cellar Designs, Shibori and many more.

Reagan Hayes’ debuted a hand-printed textile collection at this year’s What’s New, What’s Next event. The fabric collection features the same geometric themes and fashion inspired elements that Reagan Hayes has become known for among designers. The collection offers a variety of velvets and Belgian linens with geometric-inspired prints with custom options. The collection also features fashion inspired elements and a playfully curious take on their see and be seen cultural obsession.

The New York Design Center’s existing textile options include iconic collections, wallcovering of all types, fabrics with varying textures and motifs, leathers, passementerie and vintage textiles. These collections are available for all types of projects including residential, contract, and hospitality. No matter the style or requirement, 200 Lex has the textile that any project needs.

Showrooms that sell textiles by the yard include Aero, BRADLEY, Baker, Century, Dennis Miller Associates, Designlush, Desiron, DucDuc, Flourishes, Good Design, Hickory Chair, Kravet, LEPERE, Lexington Home Brands, Pearson, Profiles, Reagan Hayes, Saladino, and Theodore Alexander.
