The New York Design Center is proud to be the industry sponsor of the 10th Anniversary of DIFFA?s DINING BY DESIGN, presented by ELLE DECOR and GE Monogram. Dining by Design's Gala features over-the-top tabletop environments designed by interior designers, personalities and budding artists. The event showcases fresh and outlandish design trends. Join us for a look at this Prestigious Design exhibition demonstrating the breadth and diversity of interior design education. Student projects from the eleven New York Design Schools can be viewed from the 2nd through the 6th, and guests are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony opening the exhibition Monday, April 2nd.
Design in Bloom with Traditional Home - May 2nd, 2007
Traditional Home and NYDC celebrate the third annual Design in Bloom. The event is inspired by the NYDC's commitment to emerging design and to celebrate Traditional Home's May "Young Traditional" issue. Traditional Home will be honoring three young "flourishing and growing" designers in today's industry. Donations at the door will benefit the Women's Outreach Network, who provide mobile mammography vans to women in underserved communities. Special performance by: Melissa Stylianou, inventive modern vocal jazz artist.

CANstruction Gala: November 8th, 2007
CANstruction Exhibition: November 8th - 22nd, 2007
The NYDC hosts the 17th Annual CANSTRUCTION Competition & Gala Reception, organized by the AIA and the SDA. Teams of Architects, engineers, and contractors are given one night to build fantastic structures out of canned and boxed food. In select showrooms, view the objects before they are disassembled and donated to City Harvest.
Design Cares 2007 - December 11, 2007
The New York Design Center and Metropolitan Home Magazine present the 6th annual Design Cares Home for the Holidays silent auction. Celebrate the holidays at the NYDC with food, drink, music and bid on an eclectic array of auction items. All proceeds benefit "Furnish A Future" a program of The Partnership for the Homeless.
