Their rugs introduce handcrafted items to new markets thereby sustaining not only the time-honored methods of the craft itself, but the artisans and their way of life as well.
Saya is one of five patterns in The Shibori Collection, available in broadloom and carpet tile. The overall aesthetic of The Shibori Collection reflects the understated sophistication of the design complexity found in the traditional Japanese dye method for which the collection is named. This ancient technique causes pattern and color to appear and disappear.
Sophisticated subtle curves give fluid motion to this modern series of lounge chairs and occasional series. Inspired by the "S" curve found in the natural posture of the human body, the collection was created to provide maximum comfort and performance in an efficient compact package.
