What makes your style unique?

My mercurial quality; all of my projects are different.  From one client to another one might never know i was the designer.  It’s all about them.

Who is your design icon and why?

Elisabeth Draper.  She was my first boss in the World of Decoration and she gladly taught me whatever she could.  At age 84 she was still a fireball!  Amazing color sense & amazing sense of humor.  She’d have me doubled over at least once a day!

What is your ideal getaway/escape?

A month straddling Italy and Greece with only a sketchy agenda.

If you could live in any time period, when would it be and why?

From 1964 through the early ‘70’s.  Things were exciting, new and different yet everything was still personal.
