Ted Boerner, the San Francisco-based designer introduces three new collections in his New York Design Center showroom. These new pieces have been welcomed into the market with great success and prove that style can be warm and inviting.

The CloudBox Seating Series was introduced this fall at the New York Design Center’s “What’s New What’s Next” event.  Boerner, along with designer Katherine Lam took a fresh look at the Chesterfield Sofa and decided it needed an update.  A simple box on the outside contains a soft, quilted interior that flows up the inside back and over the arms of the sofa to the outside edges. 

The Portrait Collection is a collection of seating with clean-edged wood detailing that frames softly tailored upholstery. An optional “Bookcase Arm” eliminates the need for an end table and provides ample space for books and storage.

Ted is well known for the comfort he provides.  Now, one of his most comfortable chairs ‘Skoop’ is available on a swivel.  The new Swivel base gives it the appearance of floating and therefore light on its feet while allowing the sitter to have full visibility of the room with 360 degree swivel capabilities.
