THREE-DIMENSIONAL WALLCOVERINGS AT THE NEW YORK DESIGN CENTER

London based designer Tracy Kendall has created an outlet for expression that brings life to the walls of any interior space. Kendall’s newest wallcovering collection includes hand-crafted elements like finely stitched mosaics and sequins, as well as graphical elements such as imagery of large scale cutlery and feathers. The New York Design Center’s Ted Boerner showroom is proud to add these innovative wallcoverings to their collection.

Tracy Kendall’s graphical elements, literary influences and quiet sense of playful artistry are illustrated throughout her designs. A stack of plates, a pile of paperbacks, a giant spoon, a dandelion stem, a three-dimensional wall of tiny buttons are just some examples of her original and fanciful style. The wallpapers enhance interior spaces by using walls in entirely new ways.

All of Kendall’s designs can be customized to fit the requirements of the space. Her creative use of hand techniques and modern technology expand the vocabulary of possibilities for wallcoverings, literally.

By treating paper more like a textile, weaving it, creating affects, manipulating it, Kendall has been able to add texture, shadow and depth to a bare wall. Kendall’s unique collection offers a whimsy unlike anything we have offered before and the NYDC is thrilled to have this exciting line available in the Ted Boerner showroom.
