SALADINO'S CINEMA STYLE

This year, John Saladino, of the Saladino showroom, joined forces with VERANDA for the latest edition of Designer Visions: Cinema Style, which took place at the SoHo Mews. Saladino designed one of three townhouses whose rooms were created to look and feel like the film that inspired them.

For this project, Saladino was inspired by Girl with a Pearl Earring, the story behind Dutch Master Johannes Vermeer’s 17th century portrait of a servant girl. Saladino’s iconic pieces were the perfect fit for this artistic masterpiece.

“The sensibility of the film about Vermeer and the use of light was closest to my own philosophy,” stated Saladino.

Often referred to as the “designers' designer,” John Saladino's timeless work exemplifies his philosophy of mixing "old with new" – particularly in the VERANDA townhouse - and appeals to both traditional and modern clients.
