This month, The Gallery at 200 Lex powered by Incollect at the New York Design Center will feature the work of five newly-graduated MFA 2019 students from Rhode Island School of Design’s (RISD) Textile Department, as well as BFA Degree Project work by recent Senior graduates.

The opening reception for the exhibit will take place on June 6th from 5:00-7:30pm at The Gallery at 200 Lex powered by Incollect located on the 10th floor at 200 Lexington Avenue, New York, NY and will be open Monday – Friday through June 20th from 9:30am-5:30pm.

“We are happy to once again exhibit RISD Textiles work at The Gallery at 200 Lex powered by Incollect at the New York Design Center,” notes RISD Assistant Professor and Graduate Program Director of Textiles Anna Gitelson-Kahn. “This year we focus upon recent MFA and BFA work that addresses concepts of textiles in space and form.” “We are very appreciative of Sherri Donghia, Jim Druckman and the New York Design Center’s continued support. This opportunity for our students to exhibit their work in New York is critical to their exposure and entry into the field, says Anais Missakian, Pevaroff-Cohn Family Endowed Chair in Textiles and Professor and Department Head of Textiles.
